WordPress & PHP Plugin Compatibility Finder
Running an older WordPress or PHP version, or planning an upgrade? Enter your versions and see the popular plugins that will install on your setup, and which of them have been tested on your WordPress version.
How it works
- Enter your WordPress version and PHP version. Optionally pick a category and a minimum install count.
- We list plugins whose minimum WordPress and PHP requirements your site meets, most installed first.
- Each plugin is marked as tested or not tested on your WordPress version, based on the version its developer declares.
Frequently asked questions
- What does 'tested' mean?
- The plugin's developer declares the highest WordPress version they tested it with. Tested on your version means that declaration is equal or newer, at major.minor level. It is not a guarantee: a plugin can work on newer versions without declaring it, and vice versa.
- Why are some plugins missing?
- Plugins that require a newer WordPress or PHP version than yours are filtered out, as are plugins below the minimum install count. Lower the minimum installs or raise your versions to see more.
- Can I check one specific plugin?
- Open its page on WP Rank to see its required and tested versions in the compatibility section, or use the Abandoned Plugin Checker to see how far behind its tested version is.
- Does this scan my site?
- No. It only compares the versions you enter against plugin requirements. Nothing is read from your site.
