WordPress Plugin Comparison Tool
Choose a plugin and we suggest its closest rivals, or pick any two plugins yourself. The comparison uses live WordPress.org data: installs, ratings, update history, compatibility and support activity.
How it works
- Search for the first plugin. We list the plugins that share the most tags with it.
- Click one of the suggestions, or search for any other plugin to compare against.
- Read the side-by-side table. The better value in each row is highlighted, and the summary counts which plugin leads on more measures.
Frequently asked questions
- Where does the data come from?
- Plugin metrics come from the public WordPress.org plugin API and are refreshed regularly. The WP Rank position and score are calculated by WP Rank from installs, ratings, freshness and downloads.
- Does the plugin with more highlighted rows win?
- Not necessarily. The summary only counts measurable signals like popularity and maintenance. Features, pricing and fit for your site matter just as much, so use the numbers as one input.
- How are suggested rivals chosen?
- By the number of WordPress.org tags two plugins share, then by active installs. Plugins with almost no installs are skipped unless the plugin you picked is that small itself.
