WordPress Plugin Stack Analyzer
Enter your website address, or paste the plugins you run, and get a quick audit. We flag plugins that look outdated or abandoned, point out plugins that probably do the same job, and suggest healthier replacements.
How it works
- Enter a website address and we detect plugins from its homepage, a few inner pages and its public REST API. Or paste your plugin names, slugs, folder paths like wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php or wordpress.org plugin URLs, one per line (up to 60).
- For the most complete result, paste the list from Plugins in your WordPress admin or Tools > Site Health > Info > Active Plugins. A website scan can only see plugins that expose themselves publicly.
- Review the report: plugins are sorted from most to least concerning, with the reason and a suggested replacement when we have one.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my plugin list stored?
- No. The list or website is analysed in the request and nothing is saved or linked to you.
- What counts as overlapping plugins?
- Two plugins that share three or more WordPress.org tags, for example two caching plugins or two SEO plugins. Overlap is a hint, not an error: some combinations are intentional.
- Why are some of my plugins not found?
- Premium plugins distributed outside WordPress.org, custom plugins and misspelled names will not match. Try the plugin slug from its wordpress.org URL.
- Why does the website scan find fewer plugins than I have installed?
- We only see plugins that expose themselves in page files, markup or the public REST API. Plugins that work purely in the background, or sites that disable the REST API, will show fewer results. Paste your plugin list for a complete audit.
- How is a plugin's health decided?
- From its last update date, how far behind its tested WordPress version is, and its support activity. The Abandoned Plugin Checker page explains the scoring in detail.
