Choose Coming Soon or Maintenance Mode by status code
The free version includes templates for both modes, but they signal different site states to search engines and visitors.
- Coming Soon: Returns HTTP 200 and can be indexed while a site is under construction, unless WordPress privacy settings prevent indexing. Use it during a launch or rebuild.
- Maintenance Mode: Returns HTTP 503 to indicate temporary downtime. It is intended for short-term maintenance on an existing site.
