Description

AI agents can build and edit pages through WordPress Abilities

AI clients can create and customize Elementor pages through more than 37 WordPress Abilities.

The tools cover page and template creation, widget configuration, global styles, section movement, page duplication, media uploads and plugin settings. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients can connect through OAuth or an application password; Angie discovers the tools without a separate connection. Actions use the connected WordPress user's permissions, so access depends on that account. This suits teams looking to delegate page-building tasks while keeping them within existing user capabilities.

Widgets, navigation and WooCommerce tools for Elementor

The widget range covers navigation, content and store elements, with options across the free and Pro versions.

  • Navigation: build mega menus with dropdown templates, icons and badges, or off-canvas mobile menus.
  • Carousels: turn Elementor templates into sliders, or combine images, videos and templates in a media carousel.
  • WooCommerce: display products or categories, add a mini cart and call-to-action buttons, and show or hide content based on cart or product data.
  • Display conditions: control visibility using factors such as device, user role, date, URL parameters and ACF fields.
  • Magazine tools: create post listings, blog layouts and news tickers, with weather, world clock and recent-post notification widgets also listed. These options are useful for adding common site components without building each one from scratch.

Templates are available inside the Elementor editor

The library provides more than 600 container blocks and full-page templates directly in the Elementor editor.

Users can preview and insert a template in one click, without JSON import or export. The library is available in the free and Pro versions and to connected AI agents, making it practical for both manual page building and AI-assisted workflows.

Pro adds tables, tabs and scroll effects

Several specialized widgets and effects are reserved for Pro.

  • Tables: add sorting, search and pagination.
  • Tabs: arrange content horizontally or vertically.
  • Scroll layouts: use Horizontal Scroll or Multi-Scroll for one-page storytelling.
  • Magic Scroll: create scroll-driven animations on page elements.
  • Review widgets: display Google, Facebook and Yelp reviews. These additions matter most for sites that need structured data displays or more elaborate page interactions.

Modular loading and cross-site workflow tools

Modular controls let site owners enable only the elements they use, while the plugin says it loads only assets needed by elements on a page.

  • Design and media: add Lottie animations to widgets with an image or icon, use equal-height containers and apply liquid-glass styling.
  • Workflow: copy and paste Elementor elements across domains and duplicate pages or posts.
  • Site support: the extension is WPML-ready and responsive, useful for multilingual sites and varied screen sizes. The controls offer a way to keep the toolkit broad without enabling every element on a site.

A broad toolkit with active support, but AI features have a higher WordPress floor

The adoption, rating and support record point to an established extension, with a clear version distinction for AI features.

The plugin is widely installed, has an excellent user rating backed by many reviews, and was updated within the last week. All 11 listed support threads are resolved, a positive sign for users who may need help navigating a large feature set. Elementor is required, but Elementor Free is sufficient.

Core features require WordPress 6.6, while AI Abilities require WordPress 6.9. Sites on the lower floor can use the broader widget and template toolkit, but need the newer release to connect AI agents; check that requirement before planning an AI-based workflow.
